Savannah Bee Company Offers Honeybee Garden Tours and a visit to their Honeybee Therapy House

If you are looking for a unique experience in Savannah, join Savannah Bee Company in taking a closer look into the amazing world of the honeybee! The tours begin with their observation hive and then continue outside in their honeybee garden, home to 10 educational hives. Bee garden yours operate March through October, weather permitting, at their Wilmington Island location, 211 Johnny Mercer Blvd. Your reservations must be made in advance by calling 912.629.0908 or going to their website, www.SavannahBee.com/Bee-Garden. 5 years and up are $10/person, Seniors and Military $8/person, and Children 4 years and under are free.

They also have their Honeybee Therapy House at the same Wilmington Island location, which welcomes you to experience the sounds, smells, and vibrations of one of North America's first ever honeybee therapy houses. Separated by a screen from the four beehives underneath the seating, you will become an extension of the hive. Participants have expressed feelings of deep relaxation and enhanced meditation.
