Guess What Day It Is?!

July 27, 2017

It's Hump Day!

We've made it through the middle of another week, which means the weekend is right around the corner.  Everyone knows Thursday is a way to get ready for the weekend.  With so many things happening every week, here are just a few to give you some ideas on how to kick off your weekend just right.

A Savannah staple, the historic Savannah Theatre presents "Savannah LIVE" this Thursday, July 27 and Saturday, July 29 from 8:00-10:00 and "The Beat Goes On" this Friday, July 28 from 8:00-10:00 and Sunday, July 30 from 3:00-5:00.  The professional will transport you to a night filled with fun enjoying some of your favorite pop, jazz, Broadway, rock and roll, 60s, 70s, and 80s music.  "A must see" according to TripAdvisor.  You don't want to miss out.  Click HERE to purchase for more information and to purchase tickets.

Start off your Saturday right with a trip to the Forsyth Farmers' Market.  Happening rain or shine from 9:00am to 1:00pm, you'll be able to enjoy booths from many different vendors offering a variety of local goods from coffee and honey to breads and cheeses and everything in between.  Click HERE for more information on the Forsyth Farmers' Market.

After grabbing something to eat and doing some shopping downtown, rest up for an eventful Saturday night.  Join the Savannah Folk Music Society with their Contra Dance event in Garden City.  Click HERE for more information.  If you're looking for a place to hear some live music, head to El-Rocko Lounge and catch local boys The Hypnotics and Asheville natives minorcan and Impossible Vacation rock out from 8pm to midnight.

End your weekend just right.  Start off Sunday Funday with an awesome brunch.  We're excited to try the new brunch menu at Hitch.  It looks like those lovely summer thunderstorms are going to stay away too, so grab your friends and head down to the beach.  Stop by Two Women and a Warehouse on your way home, and check out their Secondhand Sunday Sidewalk Sale.  (Click HERE for more information.)  Pick up some steaks from Smith Brothers, grab your friends, and have a cookout.  The perfect way to end the weekend.

Savannah has so much to offer, so whatever you choose to do, you're sure to enjoy yourself.  Tag us having fun this weekend!
